Most of these criminal charges are related to his involvement at least four bail bonds businesses, including the famous Four Aces Bail Bonds, Inc. Federal prosecutors say the tax fraud charges relate to unreported proceeds from businesses involving Tillman and his son, Milton III, known as "Moe".

Bail Bondsmen Need a License.

Tillman, who already has 2 federal convictions, is also alleged to have operated an insurance business without approval of the State of Maryland. Bail bonds and bail bondsmen typically fall under the regulatory umbrella of state insurance departments.

Las Vegas an Issue for Bail Bondsman

"In addition, Tillman was charged with obtaining payroll checks from Ports America Baltimore, receiving wages and benefits for working while on vacation in Las Vegas, Brazil and Spain" according to WYPR News in Maryland.

Bail Bondsman Not New To Trouble

WYPR News in Maryland went onto report "3 years ago, Tillman was acquitted by a Baltimore City jury on fraud charges, where he allegedly used his bail bonds businesses to post the same property as bond for several defendants."
