With much of the negative press that has been surrouding the Las Vegas bail bonds scene, it is nice to see some positive news. A number of Southern Nevada businesses, mostly based in Las Vegas, recently came together to support strong climate change legislation.
Environment Nevada came is the group that rallied the Las Vegas businesses asking for "greenhouse gas reduction target of 20 percent from 2005 levels by 2020, a national renewable electricity standard of 25 percent by 2025, the creation of carbon markets, an energy efficiency resource standard (EERS) that would require utilities to become 10 percent more efficient by 2020 and a framework to use money from carbon credits to fund clean public transit projects and other programs to ease the transition to clean energy."
Las Vegas businesses signed letters of support for the Environment Nevada initiative. One of the area businesses that signed a letter was a Las Vegas bail bonds business. All Star Bail Bonds signed a letter demonstrating support for legislation to support clean energy legislation and carbon reduction. Las Vegas Bail Bonds Group would like to support All Star Bail Bonds and say thank you for taking an important step in ensuring the safety and health Southern Nevada's future.
