Las Vegas Bail Bondsman Arrested Himself

Much like Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman, Robert Suckoll was arrested in a foreign country on kidnapping charges after apprehending a bail jumper. In 2005, Suckoll and two other men went to El Salvador to retrieve a fugitive to Las Vegas to face child molestation charges. The charges against Suckoll were later dropped. Although, the kidnapping charges seemed to be the least of Suckoll's worries.

Las Vegas Bail Bondsman Targeted For Assination

Suckoll was later the target of an assination plot by a former business partner. Tim Deam, Suckoll's former business partner was arrested and pleaded no contest to conspiracy to commit battery with substantial bodily harm. He apparently tried to put a contract out on Suckoll's life.

Las Vegas Bail Bondsman Pleads Guilty

In an attempt to apprehend a fugitive, Suckoll and his former employee Diego Rodriguez were involved in an altercation in January of 2007. While trying to bring a bail jumper into custody, Rodriguez shot a 3rd party night club manager with a bean bag at the Green Door in Las Vegas. The night club manager reported several injuries as a result.

Then in May of 2007, Suckoll and Rodriguez entered an apartment where James Landerso and Fredesminda "Mindy" Solomon were sleeping and pointed shotguns at them. Suckoll and Rodriguez were looking for another bail jumper, but the residents did not know him or his whereabouts. They claimed Suckoll and Rodriguez ransacked the apartment in the process of looking for the bail jumper.

Consequently, Suckoll last week pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon and performing an act in reckless disregard of persons resulting in substantial bodily harm, both felonies; and conspiracy to commit a crime, a gross misdemeanor.

Las Vegas Bail Bondsman Probably Avoids Jail Time

After the guilty plea, it appears as if Suckoll will avoid jail time, but the terms of his probation are yet to be determined. Although, it is certain that his time in the Las Vegas Bail business has come to an end.

Las Vegas Bail Bondsman Now Doing Pest Control

He has since left the Las Vegas bail bonds business and is now the president of ProChem Pest Solutions, a pest control company in Las Vegas. The pest control business was established in 1999.
