They accept bail only for persons detained in the Clark County Detention Center. Who Can Post Las Vegas Bail?
Upon booking an inmate may post bail providing he or she has the necessary funds. Family members, acquaintances, or their representatives may post bail using their personal funds. In addition, anyone may us the services of a Las Vegas bail bondsman to post a bail bond.
Where to post bail
To post bail in person, please visit in person, Justice Court Pre-Trial Services Office. They are located at 200 Lewis Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89155. The office is located on the 1st floor of the Clark County Detention Center: Office hours were 24 hours per day, seven (7) days a week. However, the hours to post Las Vegas bail were reduced due to budget cuts. Beginning March 1, 2010, the hours of operation were reduced to 8 A.M. to Midnight, 7 days a week.

- Cash – which must be in the full and exact amount. No change will be offered.
- Money Order – Payable to “Las Vegas Justice Court”

- Western Union – Pay to: Justice Court LV Township

Remember any fees incurred while using Western Union are the responsibility of those posting bail and will be in addition to the full bail amount. When a customer makes their payment, they will receive a 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). This number identifies the payment and MUST be referenced in all inquiries.

- Personal checks are NOT accepted

Getting Your Las Vegas Bail Money Back
A cash bail is held by the court until the presiding judge directs it to be refunded or until the criminal case is resolved. If a complaint is not filed in 30 days or less, the cash bail will also be refunded.
A cash bail is generally refunded to the person who posted the bail originally. It is typically mailed to the address given when the bail was posted. All refund checks are returned to the posting party via mail by default. However, the cash bail may in some cases be picked up in person with special arrangements.
